Ingredient of the month
Eggs
Although not generally regarded as seasonal, hens are never happier when they are outside clucking about, and happy chickens produce better eggs; so spring is the perfect time for the perfect egg. Try these Jamie dishes out with your golden-yolked beauties.

Big Feastival 2013
Tickets are now available for the ultimate festival of the summer, taking place on Blur bassist Alex James’ Cotswolds Farm on August 31st and September 1st.
With music from Basement Jaxx, Rizzle Kicks, KT Tunstall and mega-hit makers The Feeling, as well as appearances from Jamie himself alongside Gennaro Contaldo and a host of fantastic food heroes offering lots of chances for visitors to get stuck in themselves, it promises to once again be a highlight of the year.
Summer Jam
With entries flooding in to Jamie’s search for the next musical superstars, it’s been a tough week to pick the best this week. Jamie and his online editor Jim Tanfield have, however, gone for this brilliant effort from Bristol three-piece Bridges. While Jamie’s Pick of the Week does not automatically make the shortlist, it’s a good start!
