3. Libby Walsh Fri 15 Jan 2010 @ 17:46 I have been married and cooking for 40 years and they say you can't teach an old dog new tricks but this one you can. That last little touch with the knife to remove the stone is fantastic. Can't wait to try it. As long as I haven't chosen one of those avocados which look fantastic and you cut it open and its rock solid and inedible. Is there a secret to choosing avocados - I've tried light green ones and those dark ones, secretly pressing to see if they are soft.
