1. Uthra Sat 07 Nov 2009 @ 14:27 Hi Jamie,
I am a huge fan of yours and never miss a show; as I am a vegetarian I just substitute similar veggies for color and texture instead of meat when trying out your recipes; they have made me a hit with my son for my Italian cooking, especially your Spanish omelette and carbonara. Thanks!!
2. Sarah Taylor Tue 21 Jul 2009 @ 19:38 Yum Yum!! If you like rocket, try Jamie's prawn and rocket pasta from his Italian cookbook. A perfect dish that I find myself craving!!!!!! xxxxxxxx for Jamie
3. madamada Fri 22 May 2009 @ 07:11 I have just sawed an aiuola (stròp in friulano) of ruccola selvatica in my orto, I'm going to make this recipe all the Summer through

4. Abhilash Mon 04 May 2009 @ 17:11 Greetings from India. I tried making the Spaghetti today(i.e 4/5/09) and it was quite good, I think it contained a bit too much zest and citrus, but the addition of raw Rocket was really good. Being a vegetarian I omitted the Anchovies but added Cherry Tomatoes.
5. Annie Tue 28 Apr 2009 @ 02:21 hi,

6. Darrell Margerison Tue 27 Jan 2009 @ 12:18 Thanks jamie

I am an Australian born in Blacburn England back 47 years ago. Aussies are foodies and the BBQ is the weapon of choice.

I think you are about 7 out 10 on the BBQ and outdoor oven front (mate....Aussies do it better...what about a cook off!?!?!?), but all else is 100%. We have the drum set ready for the Jambalambo if you ever get to Brisbane Australia.

Yours in the enjoyment of food and life
Darrell
7. chris Tue 27 Jan 2009 @ 11:24 Guys - trust me - this is one of the best god damn recipes you can make and it's UBER EASY.

I must have made this about 20 times in the last few months - it's just got a flavour that you seriously start to drool over when waiting to get home from work.

Make it - make it for your girlfriend / dates - they will love you. Tip: use two cloves of garlic, use 4-6 anchovies - and do what Gennaro does and go nuts with the aaa quality virgin olive oil after you cover the thing in parmesan. it's just amazing
8. iamsympatico Sat 03 Jan 2009 @ 05:16 This dish looks amazing. I can just taste it without even cooking it. Only wish I could get the little ones to give this a go. Thank you.

10. Margaret Fri 19 Dec 2008 @ 11:52 Well it's 6:42 am here in Canada, I have just finished watching "Oliver's Twist" with Gennaro & himself! I have been watching all your shows Jamie since they have been shown over the pond here. Your mentor is one of my favorite people besides yourself, watching you from the get go & seeing you prepare food is very relaxing for me. Just another comment I have used worchestershire sauce for years & I just happened to look at the ingredients last week, quite the surprise for me when I saw *anchovies* as one of main ingredients! No wonder it's so tastie lol...
Keep up the good works & all those lovely recipes. Enjoy your Christmas with your lovely lady & your children.

19. Nick Tue 08 Jul 2008 @ 00:26 Jamie, thanks for inspiring me to give anchoives a second chance. Growing up Italian my parents used anchoives in certain meals but us kids did not like them. Well I´m all grown up now and have a new appreciation for the tiny fish. Today´s my b-day and that´s what I decided to cook and serve. No left overs, it was super! Grazie tanto Jamie.

20. Chris Marshalsea Mon 07 Jul 2008 @ 08:56 Dear Jamie
I think that your efforts to try & change young childrens food choice from Junk to healthy is admirable, however we all know that healthy food is not always desirable food to youngsters. My own two kids one liked Junk the other healthy. Now they have grown up the both eat healthy food. With your immense knowledge and talent could you not create a healthy Junk food that kids would flock to eat.

26. Wim Tue 01 Jul 2008 @ 08:50 Very nice idea indeed! I prepared a variation on this yesterday for some friends:
Started with some garlic and anchovy, then sliced rocket (about 2cm pieces). Then some fresh peeled tomatoes and a drop of balsamico to taste. Served it with some linguine (flat spaghetti). On the table was some freshly grated parmigiano and rocket to add to taste.

Thanks for the inspiration!
