Adrienne espressos herself

As any Antipodean worth their UK visa will tell you, it’s tough finding a good cup of coffee in London.
Here at Jamie Mag, there are a few Aussies and Kiwis on staff – so when we hear that a new café has cropped up, it can be a bit of a race to see who gets there first to sample the coffee and report back.
St Ali has arrived in London by way of Melbourne, and I was happy to find myself there last weekend for what I hoped would be an excellent flat white and a brunch worthy of calling home about. And I was not disappointed. Service was great, the atmosphere so relaxed as to make you think that you might be hanging out at home on a Sunday afternoon – and judging from the amount of Aussie and Kiwi accents floating around the place, you might as well be.
So here’s to the new kid in town, a dependably delicious flat white, and a damn good brunch.
St Ali, 27 Clerkenwell Road, London, EC1M 5RN
