Help Me guys please I'm just about to sign off my next cook book its all about super delicious really affordable food and I just can't choose whether to put Chicken chapter first or Veg chapter first ?? My Veg getting packed off to take to FIFTEEN restaurant ....not bad for just an hours picking..fresh horseradish, new season Garlic !!:) very exciting (u can use everything its all soft !!) a beautiful mixed garden salad of mint ,sorrel, various mustard leafs , oak leaf, endive ,rocket , nasturtium leaves ,winter persilain.. Very nice indeed ....herb wise golden,sweet and variegated marjoram..flowering rosemary and bay .all the sages......I just can't believe it was snowing a month ago mad anyway hope your all having a great weekend !xxx xxx anyway enough already exciting stuff by Jamie

Visiting my dear old Nan...95 years old bless her heart....it's hard watching the one's you love get old but she's still super sweet and funny and the lady's that look after her are loverly.....she said to me ooooh that Cup of Tea tastes loverly ......I said Nan your drinking my coffee !! The perfect cooked bean is a beautiful thing I love fresh Borlotti beans this time of year There so good like any beans to cook them beautiful put In a pan with Plenty of water simmer them very gently until perfectly cooked, soft and buttery but still holding there shape normally about 50 minutes for these I always cook them with a peice of potato a few fresh ripe tomatoes and a nice wodge of herbs (the potatoes and tomatoes soften the beans skin flavour them and then the potato can be mashed to give the liquor a creaminess at the end of cooking ). Once cooked drain 80% of the water (save that for veggie stock) dress with the best extra virgin olive oil and lots of fresh chopped soft herbs and season cleverly to perfection!!!.. personally I add a little quality vintager which is delicious but that upsets the Italians so choose your way carefully big love by Jamie
