Make this electrified Christmas Log Cabin cake

Two weeks ago, I posted a short announcement about a new website on Gastronomy – the art and science of enjoying food.  Comment on it has resulted in a major revision.

The site now gives an introduction with the main groups of pages explained.  There is a lot of attention given to Health Education and Food in which the hope is that your children will receive a sound basis for their adult gastronomy ie the choice they make as the parents of your grandchildren later on as to what goes on their table. 

However, the future of the table is put into question as more and more couch potatoes are born.  Its disappearance will confirm the decline in family cohesion brought about in days of old when the family met at least once a day for gastronomic and therefore, social unity.

As we launch into Christmas, there are two pages at the two ends of social unity.  One deals with a MacDonalds Christmas and the other gives details of Christmas cakes with a difference.

If nothing else, once the children are busy with their cake, you can get on with the preparation in other respects.
