Perfect Mexican specialty for x-mas colors. Charred poblano peppers stuffed with minced pork, tomatoes, a diced apple, onions and a dash of cinnamon then dressed up with walnut cream sauce, cilantro and pomegranate seeds.

This gorgeous bombolone is a sugar donut filled with custard. Usually eaten for breakfast in Italy if you are not having a cornetti.

Split pea and pumpkin seed pesto salad

I love this autumn salad. I used green split peas for this one witch I boiled for 20 minutes and then made the pumpkin seed pesto with roasted pepitas, cilantro, Parmesan, olive oil. I mixed the split peas with the pesto and added roasted pumpkin seeds for the crunchiest salad.

A dot of wasabi

Like everyone else I am trying to diet to look good for the relatives this x-mas. I have been traveling a lot so I haven't spent x-mas at home for 3 years now. This avocado was not ripe enough but the crab salad with small chilies, a dot of wasabi, sesame oil and seasoned rice vinegar was wonderful. Try it.
