Love to garden, not much of a cook.

During the spring, summer and fall months, my life consists of dirty knees and a green thumb.  My garden is my escape from this crazy world.  My inspiration comes from my grandmother, as a little girl i can remember spending the week-ends at her house, picking onions, tomatoes, cucumbers, herbs and whatever else she could fit in her garden.  It was a time where nothing else mattered and the joy of growing your own fruits and veggies was so satisfying.  I started off with a few pepper plants and tomatoe plants, but as the years go by, my garden keeps growing and growing. We have added a herb garden, strawberry plants and raspberry bushs last year.  I had never grown herbs before, so i had no idea what i could use them for, but with a little help from Jaime i have no trouble finding a use for them now.  Jaime at home has inspired me to do a little more cooking with my hard work, instead of just using the stuff for canning.  Good luck to those who garden and thanks for the help Jaime.
