I experimented with making my own pizza dough and baking pizza in the oven.
I´m a bit disappointed, because the result is not as good as pizza from wood-fired ovens, but at least it´s a lot better than the deep-frozen stuff you can buy...

It´s a typical dish starting Lent after carnival in my region. So I made it, of course.
I didn´t post for a month or so and a really missed it. The reason is, I´m really busy with my kids, my job, cooking, and last but not least the various tasks coming with having a house build. We need more space and rooms for the kids...
Egg liqueur

Tried a new recipe today:
6 egg yolks
250 g powder sugar
200 g cream
250 ml booze
seeds of one pod of vanilla
Normally I would mix all of the ingredients well (~ half an hour) until everything has combined. This recipe calls for whisking them over gentle heat and everything is done in 10 minutes. But you mustn´t stop stirring otherwise you will get scrambled eggs and booze. And you must control the temperature, it must be under 78°C otherwise all the alcohol evaporates. Much more need of "booze control" 
than using my other recipe, but it saves time and works fine.

Tonight´s starter: Tuna ceviche à la Jamie.
Cool. I wanted to make them ever since I saw im cooking with his sister-in-law in his TV series. Today I found the appropriate tuna quality for the first time and here we go. It´s sooooo lush.
