my first wild plum! (okay, it is not That wild =)
I have just noticed that there is a plum tree at the back garden (so, it is not That wild) of our design studio (well, there is an olive tree too at the front garden). So I went to pick some mature ones from the tree (my first fruit picking experience, it was great!) then me and everybody ate it at the kitchen. It as so Great!! (with capital G!)
So so so different that the ones you got from the shop! Everyone should try this. I am addicted!
beautiful sunday wonderful breakfast
I always have wonderful memories of breakfast when I lived at my parents' house. In the morning when it is still dawn, I woke up, half sleeping and I could smell the 'breakfast aroma' and 'breakfast noise' from the kitchen. And then, my parents arrived from their morning jogging routine, my brother and my sister just woke up and half sleeping, and we all sit around the table, enjoying breakfast.
Now that I live far away from my family and that I work, it is hard to keep the breakfast ritual during the weekday. I can only do it during the weekend.

pasta alla norma from jamie's italy
I cooked pasta alla norma (from my fave cooking book: jamie's italy) and it was great! I was very hungry and the smell was so good, resulting blur a photo, but I want to share the experience anyway
my saturday strawberry pancake
Mix the egg and oil and abit of milk, add flour and salt and sugar, mix all well, adjust the milk and flour until it becomes like...thick cream.
Fry in a pan (without oil) until brown (both sides)
Serve with a spoonful of fresh ricotta, fresh strawberry (or frutti di bosco) and drizzle with honey and sprinkle with cannella.
