I am absolutely fascinated by every aspect about food: Its vivid colours; its intricate texture; its enticing smell- and above all, its irresistable taste that sends me off into another world as each spoonful salutes my palette. Thanks for being such a great role model Jamie- I think you are really doing a top job at encouraging people to cook healthy and to eat proper, nutritious food. :-) My most inspiring Chefs are: -Jamie Oliver; -George Calombaris -Matt Preston (Food Critic); -Manu Feidel

GENERAL BLOG

This is what my Sister made for dinner when I went on holidays with her last year.

The beef was lovely and lean, marinated in olive oil and spices...

Then we had peas....

+ BEETROOT & HORSERADISH MASH! It was a gorgeous recipe.
(I will post the recipe to the beetroot & horseradish mash on foodwise later if I can find the recipe! I will hunt deep into my vast recipe collection!

GENERAL BLOG

Saurkraut and mung bean salad with olive oil topped with a fried egg, and served with grape tomatoes! Beautiful, light salad.

If you don't want to make your own sauerkraut (don't know how to spell it, sorry), you can buy tinned sauerkraut from the supermarket.

GENERAL BLOG

Upon filling up my whole shelf with cookbooks when I bought a curry cookbook yesterday, I decided to take a photo of my own cookbook collection and show you guys.

I'd be interested to know which ones you have that are in collection. Looking foward to your replies!
