I am 26 and I live in the Beautiful New Forest with my fiancé and our two cats Millie and Sylvester. We are very lucky to live in such a wonderful area as we have the forest, fields and the sea all surrounding our house.
I am obsessed with food and dream about buying it, cooking it, and best of all eating it 24/7!
I am driving my family and friends nuts so it will be lovely to have some fellow Jamie fans and foodies to daydream with...

Organic Sunday Brunch

Oriental Style Meatballs

These are some yummy pork meatballs with oriental style flavours I made last week and then froze into batches for quick dinners. Last night I served them with a dipping sauce (that I actually poured over!) and fluffy white rice.
I will try to remember exactly what I put in them and the sauce as I forgot to write the recipe down as I was making it up

Birthday Cake

This is a cake that I made for a friend's birthday last Friday. We work together so I took it into the office for everyone to enjoy as birthday treats. It was chocolate sponge sandwich with whipped cream and raspberries in the middle and chocolate ganache and pretty pink sugar sparkles on top. She enjoyed it and took the rest home for her family to try, and they liked it too
Winchester Farmers Market

On Sunday Nathan and I went to visit my sister in Winchester, and before taking her out for lunch we went to the farmers market, which is the largest in Hampshire so I was very excited! I was so enthralled in everything that I forgot to snap some photos, hopefully I will remember next time. There were so many stalls laden with delicious bounty such as fruits, vegetables, honey, meats, game, fish, seafood, baked goods, preserves, flowers, garlic, wool, sheepskins, fresh hog roast, buffalo burgers and roasted mushroom sandwiches. It was a veritable feast for our eyes and noses, let alone our tummies! We sampled cheese, jam, ketchup, and cider and all were truly scrumptious. As I am in the process of setting up a tiny cottage industry of my homemade cakes, confectionery, jams and chutneys it was wonderful to see all of these other business thriving in the current economy and to also see what the competition are doing and how to differentiate my products.
Something I was particularly excited to see were all of the beautiful pumpkins. I was so thrilled that I had to buy the biggest one there!

Hot chillies including birds eye and scotch bonnet

Ornamental gourds
Russet apple cider
Nathan was hungry and wanted to try a delicious buffalo burger rather than a sandwich from the deli, so he had one!
Now I cannot wait for the next market which is in two weeks time
MOF Crunchy Garlic Chicken

Last nights din dins and it was utterly delish! I Have made it before with whole chicken breasts, however this time I used mini fillets and they did not disappoint. If you do use mini fillets make sure that you double the quantity for the crumbs as you have more surface area than than whole breasts
