About
I am not a trained chef and I have never been to a culinary arts school. But...I do love making food and eating it and one day I would love to wear a sweet chef 's hat (does it come in orange?). I live in Virginia with my beautiful wife, Ashley, our son Myles, and our two cats Millie and Gato.
My dream job is to travel the world, eating food, and just hanging out with people along the way. If anyone knows how I may be able to do this, please...let me know :)
Until then, I hang out in the kitchen, trying not to catch my self on fire, or get outside with my wife to play at the beach.

Wed 06 May 2009GENERAL BLOG
Last night we got together with some friends and my wife made up this chocolate cheescake topped with chocolate gnoche with a vanilla waffer coco crust! IT WAS AWESOME!!! It tasted divine! I thought I would throw the picture on the blog for everyone to see. If she keeps cooking like this I am going to need to go to the gym more ![]()

7. Thai Basil
8. Onions
9. Garlic

The parents were over the other night and we decided to grill up some pork ribs. I used a hot and spicy sauce and they turned out pretty well. Enjoy!

New Little Garden: Need Ideas!!
Sun 12 Apr 2009GENERAL BLOG
So this year I built a little shelving system out of some scrap wood to use for my garden. I hope it will all work out. It is still in the semi-building stages and I am trying to find some pots to put my plants in. Right now I have some garlic, onions, swiss chard, mint, spinach, dill, parsley, cilantro, and thai basil growing right now. I have a ton of herbs upstairs growing in the window getting ready to be transplanted.
I would like to grow some tomatoes, beans, and maybe little cucumbers but I am not sure if some of this can be grown in a small area. I need some ideas on what else I can grow...so please help ![]()

So I have been growing some herbs in the window and I think they are almost ready to transplant to their own pots. I just can't wait to use them in my cooking!
