About
I am so glad that I have had the chance to see Jamie's shows on TV and cook his wonderful recipes with great results.
I have all his books and anything I choose to cook always turns out so perfect and so tasty. It feels so rewarding when your guests are still complementing and asking you questions about the food you prepared.
I am a stay at home mom but I love to cook and try different foods. There is not one food that i would not try.

Cherry Muffins
Wed 18 Jun 2008GARDEN BLOG
Ok, found some use for these muffins and they actually taste really good. Unfortunately most sank to the middle or the bottom of the cake.
Preheat oven to 375 F. Butter your muffin tins
In a bowl pour the boiling water over the cherries. Let stand for 5 minutes.
In another bowl stir and toss together the flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt. Set asside.
To the cherries and water add the sugar, butter, eggs, lemon zest and almond extract. Add the combined dry ingredients and stir until blended.
Spoon in yhour muffin tins and bake for about 20 minutes. Enjoy!

Here is my daughter with the dessert. This was fun to make too. I had prepared the filling in advance so all i had to do was to stuff the cannoli and dip in chocolate on the day.
Just to let you know all the recipes were from Jamie's Book Happy Days with the Nacked chef (unless specified)
Thank you Jamie for helping me make Father's Day so Yummy ![]()

Father's Day Menu- Proper Ceasar Chicken Salad
Tue 17 Jun 2008GENERAL BLOG
PLEASE try this!! Because we don't have an oven like Jamie (outside) I started up our Charcoal BBQ and placed the FIRESTONES on the grill and all heated up. The flames were not touching the pan that sat on the firestone and we closed the lid and it cooked like a wood oven.
When it came out ....OMG the ciabiatta was perfectly crusty and made the tastiest croutons.
this recipe is from Jamie's New Book, Jamie at Home. YUMMY
Father's Day Menu- Make your own Pizza
Tue 17 Jun 2008GENERAL BLOG
I made up Jamie's recipe for the dough and set up a little table with different ingredients and let everyone make their own pizza with the toppings that they liked. I had the stone in the oven and I was standing by to cook it.
I even gave them an ORDER # that I would call out when it was ready. It was fun.
