Hi Everyone, My name is Bel.
I am a stay at home Mother of 2.
Nakita is 8 and Clayton is 5.
I keep very busy just looking after the house & kids, I havent a clue how people raise kids & have full time jobs. My hat is off to anyone that can manage that & not go crazy.
I have a background in hospitality. Mostly bar & waitressing but I was getting into the management side of things when I left to start a family. Next year I may do commercial cookery.
This year Clayton has started school, and now they are both there I am volunteering to help out by joining the Parents & Citizens Asoc. in the Vice Presidents role. I am also on the canteen committee which means lots of hours spent catering sporting events & later in the year, a local vintage car show.
My Avatar: That is my son Clayton when he was almost 2 years old. I had just gotten my J.O mortar & pestle for my 30th birthday. How cute is he?

His cake will have some of these on top with some trees & whatever else I can think of.... 
I have never worked with the ready made icing before - bit like playdough - I enjoyed it but it is very time consuming.

Hi people.
Its Claytons 6th birthday this week & to celebrate we are giving him his first "big boys bike" a BMX called "The Dinosaur" & with that in mind we are having a dino themed birthday party for him on Saturday & we have invited all of kindergarten.
So I have baked HEAPS of these Triceratops biscuits & I am in the process of icing & decorating them.

I cant believe I forgot to blog this - you all know how excited I was to buy my first ever side of lamb - mostly because I would get to cook the shoulder - which I did yesterday & then forgot to take pictures 
This is a pic I took LAST Sunday of the leg from that side of lamb before I put it in the oven.

Plus stuff is under the kitchen sink - long life juice, cordial, coke, plus I "hide" things in the linen cupboard or the OH eats them as a midnight snack. 
I have just re-vamped an old louvre door pantry from the 60/70's that I will use for storing bulk items such as flour & rice which I would love to purchase in 5-10kg lots as soon as I have storage for them.
