About
I am a Filipino artist who was born and raised in Manila. Currently based in Vietnam as the Head of Creative Group in a local Ad agency. I am a lover of life and a lover of Australia. I am making the most out of what I have now by doing and learning the things I love. I am into painting, physical activities like running and kick boxing, whistling the harmonica, traveling, beach bumming, photography and of course cooking almost everyday! If I have to claim one thing in my life and that is, I am Jamie Oliver's number one fan in the Philippines & Vietnam. In that claim I am 100% sure. I admire Jamie Oliver so much that's why whatever he does, I try to do it in my own little way. I know I am going to meet him one day :-)

Fried Tofu & Papaya Relish
Thu 30 Jul 2009GENERAL BLOG
I finally had my first Artist Chef stint here Saigon. Among the dishes I prepared, this dish was my latest concoction. The customers who dined are my friends. This dish was there favorite.
The grated papaya cooked in beef broth, sausage tidbits and basil took me an hour to finish it with nice and soft texture. The fried soft tofu blended well with this dish.
Hope you can catch more of my concoctions at:

Paprika-Peppered-Pork
Wed 15 Jul 2009GENERAL BLOG
Meat in general are best eaten when grilled perfectly. I couldn't describe the fusion of spices I concocted for this grilled pork. Paprika & Pepper blended well as I marinated it with balsamic vinegar. This was very much appreciated by an Aussie mate one Sunday lunch. Then during dinner fellow Filipinos in Saigon also devoured themselves with this Grilled P-P-P!
Hope to concoct more dishes like A-A-A!

Herby Steak with Garlic & Wine Gravy
Fri 10 Jul 2009GENERAL BLOG
I kinda like medium rare steak when I eat them. I prepared this steak recipe with some herbs in it and did some Garlic & Wine Gravy using Dalat wine here in Vietnam. It's fun to have an expat life here because I can do a lot of cooking and more mouth to feed.
Hope you'll take some glance on my herby Vietnam Life,

Sagada Fried Rice
Wed 01 Jul 2009GENERAL BLOG
Last Sunday I moved my stuff to my new apartment. An Aussie mate helped me and my housemate carry all the boxes we had. But prior to that I cooked my very special Sagada Fried Rice with Pork-Pepper-Paprika Medley. Then at night I fed our Filipino guests with the same food but with additional food like dumplings and tempura.
It was a happy Sunday eating. My Sagada Fried Rice never fails!!!
