It's a pie!
This is my 2nd apple pie,although i have omitted the berries as i was originally just looking for a apple pie recipe and more importantly how to make a decent pastry! Using a mixture of apples from the garden (i don't know the variety?) and two bought bramley apples i set out to make it...my last attempt went down well with all who sailed in her so i decided to make my friend a moving-in present and here it is!
Great recipe though,which has also prompted me to go out and buy a rolling pin as i am not entirely sure about the merits of using the cling-film roll as a substitute

and what a wonderful pie!!!
A bottle of wine works well as a rolling pin substitute as well...and when you work up a thirst rolling...well you get the picture!
i'm amazed i never thought of that!
