
This is soooo easy to make.... you just need a yeast dough, the damsons and some sugar and cinnamon to sprinkle on top as soon as it comes out of the oven. Bliss!
When using the original recipy the flan case is meant to be crispy like a pizza, and the damsons come out all juicy. We prefer to eat it whilst it is still warm.
A traditional regional dish is thick veg soup (mostly potatoes, puréed) and damson flan right out of the oven, sprinkled with sugar and cinnamon.
