TO-FY JAGA. lol

GENERAL BLOG

This is actually NIKU-JAGA (NIKU means meat (beef or pork and) and JAGA, this is actually JAGAIMO (potatos) but it was shorten the word for some reasons when someone named it.

This is really typical Japanese food. (mother food).

Sauce is only used "gingar, soy sauce, water and super". that's all. First, fry meat and Potatos in the pan and put that sauce and put some vegies (for me, carrots, rudish, green beans,) but for my GF, I put To-Fu instead of meat which is good though.) Spread spring onions.

This was actually made in the UK. Japanese famous historical person (Heihachiro Togo) went to study abroad in the UK (Portsmouthfrom ) from 1870-1878 and once He ate beef stew in the UK and he loved that food. When he came back to Japan, he asked chef to make beef stew and he told the chef exactly the same way of recipe but at that time there was no wine or demiglace sauce so the chef changed the way and used Soy sauce, some water and some suger to try to make the same taste and "NIKU-JAGA was made".

Just try to cook it. I'm sure you will like it.
