GENERAL BLOG

Maybe this doesnīt smell like success, but it was! lol

My kids are very fuzzy eaters. They eat everything when we are at large family dinners for example where many people sit around the table, talk, eat, and enjoy a great time. But at home... roll roll roll  Unfortunately itīs more like me running round the table trying to prevent that everything is covered with food after my 2 years olds have finished their meal. This is the main reason for them being so picky, I guess... But slowly itīs getting better. Yesterday they had pasta with pumpkin sauce and tonite I made mashed potatoes and kohlrabi with bechamel sauce. Hey, they did not complain, but eating properly and behaved well. YAY.

I had the same experience - I think kids are hard wired to be part of a larger community than a nuclear family, and it does make for more difficult meal times. I am not surprised they loved this though, it will be comfort food for them all their lives!smile
