
This is a chicken pot pie with puff pastry crust. Nice easy autumn dinner. The filling's in the pot.

Did you make the pastry, Westie? All that rolling and chilling and folding and all dat s*it? As a dedicated "first principles" cook, puff pastry is one of the few things that I just can't be a*sed with, just buy it frozen!

I buy it frozen because I am not ready for that level of failure yet. I made croissants recently and they were an epic failure. It took me 36 hours to recover emotionally.
