I roast peppers every fall with the weed burner and freeze them for all year.  You can't see the propane flame in the day, but it's hot!  It's meant to burn wide swaths of weeds all at once.  Or, um, to cook.

Ha ha ha, we have a flame thrower too! That's really a good idea and I think I might enjoy using it too!
