I bought my new and *first*  kitchen composing bin today.  I'm thinking about investing in a worm farm to keep in my basement due to the amount of food scraps my family goes through on a regular basis. I hate throwing food out and my husband constantly wants to keep a bowl (any bowl, too many bowls, driving me nuts with bowls) of compost. 

Now, I'm going to fight the compost - lol  - and give it - its own space in my kitchen!
