
I thought we would have a healthy desert at the weekend, so made havtorn (sea buckthorn) soup, although it was served with chantilly cream.![]()

how much sugar did you have to add?? I like seabuckthorn straight up but I imagine it needs a lot of help for a dessert.

Not too much, just a couple of table spoons. Sorry I haven't got exact measurements as I always just throw in some berries, add some water, then add as much as I feel it needs. But it is still fairly tart when it's finished, which is why we have it with chantilly cream.
