
Figs are now in season, admittedly they are expensive in some supermarkets, but remember fig trees can be grown in the English garden. This year we have had a great crop and decided to make this starter coupled with some very tasty foie gras. I simply pan fried the two (no need for seasoning or additional oil/butter) and stacked on top of a bruschetta. Really nice and surprisingly filling! Em ![]()
