The weather is creeping up again here in australia and it looks like another week of hot days.
Today I took a few short cuts , using filling from the fruity Essex buns Recipe I rolled it in some puff pastry.
It's a little cheeky as it is not following the recipe however after watching a few of Jamie's 30 minute meals I thought if Jamie was here he might say that's ok .
It really was lovely to eat so I suppose that counts.
I will try the fruity Essex buns one day when its cooler. Happy cooking every one.

Thanks this simple exercise of doing one Jamie Oliver recipe a day for a year has taught me so much already. I buy heaps more fruit and veg now ! Sometimes challenging especially with the Australia having a heat wave.
