My crushed Italian tomatoes or Passata as it is commonly known in Italy is cupboard essential. It is made from perfectly sweet Italian tomatoes, ripened on the vine in the sun for maximum sweetness and flavour. They are peeled, lightly chopped and preserved in a jar ready for you to use.
