porcini mushroom pasta sauce

My porcini mushroom pasta sauce has a delicious rich flavour, packed with tomatoes and porcini mushrooms straight from the hills and fields of southern Italy.

• warm the sauce up in a pan and serve with penne or spaghetti and plenty of Parmesan cheese
• this sauce will make a great hearty bases for a home-made vegetable stew or vegetarian lasagne
• warm it up with a little mascarpone cheese and chopped fresh rosemary leaves, served with the lightest potato gnocchi
• pour over meatballs and simmer gently for the best meatball sauce
