rubs

My rubs are packed with flavour and are an easy way to spice up your everyday meals. They are really simple to use too – just add a few large pinches of the rub to a pestle and mortar or Flavour Shaker™ and smash to release all the scents and flavours from the herbs and spices – beautiful! Try my hot and fragrant rub, favourite curry rub or rosemary and caper rub.

• massage your ground rub into steaks, chops or fish fillets before cooking and let the flavours soak in a little
• rubs give a Sunday joint a brilliant crust – just grind up and sprinkle on before roasting
• rubs are fantastic when added to stews or curries at the beginning of cooking to spice them up
• mix a little ground rub with yoghurt or mayonnaise to make a delicious dip for raw vegetables or tortilla chips
