oprah's big give

Hi Guys,

Last week I had a great time in Miami at the South Beach Food and Wine Festival. The sun was shining, the festival was brilliant and I met loads of inspiring people. I'm now in a wonderful (but chilly) New York, talking to lots of people about Oprah's Big Give and squeezing in some work on my new book. I'll be on The Late Show with David Letterman this week, so keep an eye out for me on that.

After New York I'm off to Chicago where I'll be appearing on the lovely Oprah Winfrey's show again. Oprah's Big Give, the show I took part in earlier this year, debuts in the States this Sunday and we're all really excited about it. I think it's a great show and am hoping it will really make a difference and inspire people around the States. If you live in North America, it premieres on March 2nd 8pm on ABC. After Oprah's show it's straight back to work in good old blighty for me, so I'll see you all soon.

The Big Give, which I filmed with Oprah, aired last night and was one of ABC's highest-rated Sunday evening shows in years. I'm really excited about this as it's such a lovely show.

I was on Oprah's show today to talk about the Big Give and I did some cooking from my book, Cook with Jamie . Oprah absolutely loved it and gave it a really good plug, so that's good news for the Fifteen Foundation as all of the proceeds from the book go to them.

It's been a fantastic trip and I've met so many inspiring people.
