unsigned bands top 5, get voting!
Fri 22 Aug 2008 17:26 Hi Guys,I've got some exciting news for you today because after loads and loads of listening we've finally chosen the top five bands for our Unsigned Bands competition! Quite honestly picking just five bands out of the hundreds of entries we got was really, really tough. Not just me, but all of us here were so impressed by the standard of stuff that was sent in so well done to everyone that entered! These are the bands we've chosen (in alphabetical order):
Aquila’s Kiss - Home
Bohemian Mods - Sail away
Dancing Lotus - Three Kinds of Love
John Carson - Thousands & Thousands Of Things
Stealing Signs - Green Weekend
It's a long weekend here in England so you can have a listen to these tunes while you're enjoying your days off. It's up to you lot to decide who will get the chance to perform in front of an A&R executive from Mercury Records at a London venue so make sure you get voting. We have also posted up some of the bands that were shortlisted so you can have a listen to them too.
The winner will be announced here on the site 3rd of September... May the best band win!
