Hi Guys,
It's great to see such an outpouring of support for
Ministry of Food on the
forums. I've been reading some of your responses. Some have been really positive which is great. I’m a big believer that the forums should be as open as possible and I enjoy being challenged by the different views so please, keep posting.
Don’t forget to let me know what you think of the third episode, which airs tonight.
Jamie’s Ministry of Food has also aired in Australia so a big shout out to all of my Australian friends who have been visiting the site and showing their support too. I've always been impressed with the Aussie attitude towards food and eating.
If you still haven’t
registered to get involved and Pass It On then please make sure you do. We need everyone’s help to make this work! Many of you have written to me at the office asking for more information on how you can set up your own Pass It On movement. To make this easier for you we've put together some information to help get you started. We’ll be posting this on the
Ministry of Food site very soon, so look out for that.
Finally, I am so chuffed to say that various people in the public eye have also come out to support the movement. Sharon Osborne, Twiggy and Sir Ben Kingsley have all registered on the Ministry of Food site. And, although the show hasn’t aired in the States yet, this week I received an email from the lovely Marcia Cross from Desperate Housewives. She wrote, “The Ministry of Food seems to be just what every country should have. It’s about time someone actively breaks the cycle of poor diets. This show and campaign will hopefully tackle this worldwide problem. Well done Jamie for giving it a go. Hope to see you over here soon."
Thanks to everyone for their support
Big love, Jamie O xxx
