Jamie's Fowl Dinners
Fri 11 Jan 2008 @ 18:33 Hi guys,Those of you in the UK may have watched Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall's programme Hugh's Chicken Run, which aired on Channel 4 this week. Hopefully you have also heard about my show, Jamie's Fowl Dinners, which airs tonight at 9pm on Channel 4. Both of our shows focus on the poultry industry and how poultry in this country is produced. This seems to have struck a chord with many people and it is obviously something lots of people are interested in and thinking about.
Of course the topic is one that polarises people, and rightly so, because people have different opinions when it comes to methods of farming and how much money to spend on chicken. Right now, I think the most important thing is that as many people as possible are aware of the debate and get the information they need to make informed choices. So keep an eye out for my show this evening. It isn't like anything I have filmed before, but I'm pleased with it because I think it's a really interesting way of sharing information with the public and getting people talking. Keep discussing these chicken issues on the forums as well as there are loads of really interesting debates going on there.
