merry christmas

Thu 18 Dec 2008 @ 17:22 Well it's not quite Christmas yet but this will be my last message until the New Year because I'm taking a bit of a break. I'm really looking forward to having a nice holiday with my family and catching up with my mates.

My Christmases are always fairly traditional because that's how we like them. I tend to cook a lot over the holidays and I'm sure this year will be no different. If you're going to be cooking for people and are stuck for ideas check out my Christmas special, Jamie Cooks Christmas at 9pm tonight on Channel 4. This year's show is full of cracking recipes and ideas to help you get the most from your Christmas dinner.

The lovely Gennaro was with me again this year and we had a real laugh filming the show together. We had a ham bake-off that was absolutely hilarious so keep an eye out for that.
