Recipe competition winners

It's official! The winner of our online recipe competition is this beautiful fried mullet and green bean dish dish posted by Tonemid. Congratulations mate!

We sorted through hundreds of entries but the great combo of ingredients in this recipe really made it stand out. Mullet is a fantastic fish and it's used a lot in Italian cooking. The sticky sweetness of the roasted garlic and tomatoes is going to make that sauce beautiful. Combined with 'al dente' green beans and perfectly cooked fish with crispy skin it's a killer dish.

Tonemid's recipe will be featuring on the trattoria menu at Fifteen London for the month of September. I know the guys at Fifteen will do a great job of cooking this dish and I'm sure the customers will go mad for it. If you're in the neighbourhood, stop by and try it.

Big thanks to everyone who entered. There were countless clever and creative recipes and it was tough to choose just one. Mathide's tuna and asparagus "mousseline" and Allora Andiamo's baked caprese skewers with an anchovy, chilli & garlic dressing got your votes for the people's choice awards. Well done guys!
