Just wanted to share some great news with you about the Italian launch of my book Jamie’s Italy. I am thrilled that the first book that I’ve published in Italian has launched and gone straight into the top 10 bestsellers list in the first week!! Who’d have thought me, an Essex boy would be selling a book about Italian cooking to the Italians! I hope that everyone enjoys it. I am so inspired by Italy, Italians and of course and the way in which they cook. As you know, Gennaro Contaldo is my mentor and to this day he still continues to teach me wonderful things about Italian cooking.

To all the Italians who may be reading this –

Vi ringrazio per il vostro supporto - Vi voglio tanto bene. Quello che mi piace dell'Italia e' il paese, la cucina ma soprattutto la gente. Spero di venire presto in Italia.
