Jamie Oliver's Fabulous Feasts brings the festival season to an end at Harvest at Jimmy's
After bringing wonderful food to event-goers all summer, Jamie Oliver's Fabulous Feasts rounded off their first festival season with huge success at Harvest at Jimmy's from 11th to 12th September, 2010.
Harvest at Jimmy's is a festival where, contrary to others, the food comes before music. Now in its second year, the festival is a celebration of culinary expertise and the best of British food set on a real working farm in Suffolk, with headliners including Scouting for Girls and Newton Faulkner.
Jamie Oliver said:
"As everyone knows, Jimmy and I go way back to our school days so I'll make sure we do him proud with Fabulous Feasts. Harvest at Jimmy's is always such a brilliant weekend that I'm sure everyone will have a great time with quality music and amazing food."
Fabulous Feasts was set up by Jamie to tailor the best fresh food using carefully-sourced ingredients and catering to every event whether it's a music festival or corporate event and anything in between.
The Fabulous Feasts team brought a unique Jamie menu of tasty food including 'proper sausage pappardelle', 'chilli prawn fusilli' and 'chocolate, amaretti and raspberry brownie’, with a specially designed children's menu of 'kid's curly wurly fusilli' to the 20,000 festival goers. All food was freshly prepared on site by head chef Dan and his team and served by passionate, friendly and efficient staff.
Nigel Harris, Managing Director of Jamie Oliver’s Fabulous Feasts said:
"It was great for us to be involved in a festival that places food as high as music. Harvest at Jimmy’s drew our first ever festival season to a close and ended a fantastic summer on a high."
