Re: Website/forum: issues and complaints?

I'm only getting it on the "Show new posts" today.

Yes, it was irritating. *Particularly* as it will be live at an ungodly hour here and there's no way I'd (or I'd imagine many) would be watching it for that reason. It should show up in my YouTube feed.

Re: Website/forum: issues and complaints?

I spoke too soon the  pop up annoying food tube picture is back with vengeance , flashing over the screen whenever I want to change page or look at something else ... Fortunately the show is tonight ... So hopefully the problem should sort itself out by tomorrow !

Re: Website/forum: issues and complaints?

Me either, Mada. I switched off. It's on (live) at a crazy time for me and it will show up in my YouTube feed for me to watch at my convenience. I don't need it shoved down my throat here.

Hopefully, those who organised this will learn from the feedback we've given.

I'm not into "force feeding" wink.

Re: Website/forum: issues and complaints?

Hi everyone, I apologise unreservedly for the issues with the popup ad - when we left the office on Friday it was set to only appear once to each user and not show up again once closed, and it seems this stopped working sometime in the evening when we were away from our desks. It should have been fixed now - let me know if you experience any further problems.

Apologies again,
M

Re: Website/forum: issues and complaints?

I hope this minor mishap doesn't stop you guys from putting up a notice near the time of the show the next time around because I would really appreciate the reminder in the future.  I had the constant pop-ups, but I knew you guys didn't plan it that way because at first it worked correctly for me, later it malfunctioned.  Good luck with that guys!

Re: Website/forum: issues and complaints?

Thanks for the reminders, even though there were too many of them, LOL!  I finally caught the show live.  I wanted to send in a question, but couldn't figure out how to do it.

eta:  Great topic for this month and what a very nice idea that you focused on using the leftovers and side dishes.  How to cook a turkey has been pretty much covered by everyone and their uncle, besides, I'm never going to do all those crazy things recommended like strapping giant pieces of salted fat to the bird, wrapping it in cheesecloth and soaking it in white wine.  My name is Martha S, but definitely not Martha Stewart!
