I'll try that. My boys love cake. However they do get tired of my healthy ones so one with a tad more sweetness will be a nice change for them. smile

There's always something about what you're NOT supposed to have that makes it more attractive.   lol

Re: LETS EAT CAKE!

hi there
I wonder if anyone can help me out with suggestions for a really white icing to go on a chocolate cake?  Butter icing would probably be too yellow, I'm catering for people who don't like marscapone, so that's out.  I wondered about making a white chocolate ganache, but don't have a recipe for it - and would I then be able to decorate it, it's a birthday cake and I'm planning to write a message on it.  Any suggestions gratefully accepted!   smile

Re: LETS EAT CAKE!

Its kiddos birthday sunday he loves anything chocolate, marble cake, yougart chocolate cake...cup cakes, cookiies.. he phoned at midday to ask if he should pass by on sunday lol i said that i'd make something original/different from the usual  help

That little guy is mad for chocolate but doesn't like dried fruits and fancy things added.

Even the most powerful chocolate cake i make, he won't eat because it has almonds and flaky pastry: http://www.jamieoliver.com/recipes/memb … colat/4406    roll
