homemade burgers. 80/20 ground beef. grilled over charcoal. browned onions,homemade relish, tamiskaming cheese.( this is a canadian cheese similar to portugese st George cheese) , focaccia bun..

Tonight's my son's last before he heads back to Sydney for uni and work.
So something special: mussels in the "usual" way, hand cut thick chips (baked not deep fried, of course 
), green salad, bread for him to mop up the juices..
Stuffed peaches baked. Last of my vanilla bean ice cream.

I made One Pot Chook, which I got off a TV program (Iain Hewitson) a few years ago, but had never made. It was very good, and I realise it was a tagine, by a different name.
So very exciting! I have cooked a recipe that has been waiting for me for a few years. I have cooked a tagine! and I made a very yummy supper!
