Onion and bell pepper beef sausages and jacket potatoes with chives and sour cream... and a glass of sauv blanc or two

Last night I basted checked breasts with OO and garlic, sprinkled with a mix of sumac and pink (Australian) sea salt and cooked for 3 mins each side on the char grill.
Served with herbed cous cous with scallions and toasted slivered almonds. Baby spinach on the side.

Last night I roasted chicken chops with garlic and lavender salt, roasted potatoes and pumpkin and buttered carrots with peas

Slow roast beef, with crash hot potatoes, brocolli, cauliflower and carrots. I sealed the beef on the hob this morning, then popped it in the bread oven at 100C for the rest of the day, it was so tender you could cut it with a spoon. I'm so glad it's cold enought o have the wood fire going again!

risotto with thyme, prosciutto, sweet bread dough with uva fragola hidden .... I must avoid going into the kitchen .... it demands to be finished

Last night was roast chicken, rice, broccoli and gravy and tonight will be turkey breasts in sage and cream sauce with hasselback potatoes and sauteed leeks. Not sure what we'll be having the rest of the week but, as we have 6 pheasant and 2 wild duck, I'd hazard a guess that they might be featuring heavily on the menu?
