Re: Whats For Supper?

insalata di riso (riso alla greca, I'm not sure you would call it rice salad) corona beans alla Bud Spencer, that is canned beans savoured  with sage and onion first in evo oil, beans, peeled tomatoes into slices with oregano and a garlic clove thinely sliced .......... and a celery stalk into pieces. I served them at room temperature, yes 30°C with cooled in the fridge rice salad (boiled rice, tuna, boiled eggs and a ready bought mix of vegs and olives)

Re: Whats For Supper?

Slow roasted shoulder of lamb rubbed with a paste of rosemary, garlic, anchovies, capers, olive oil and lemon on a bed of red onions. It's about to go in the oven for 4 hours!

Last night we had a delicious fish pie that has such a lovely fragrant lemon sauce.  http://www.thomasvinicombe.co.uk/2013/0 … h-pie.html

Re: Whats For Supper?

Made an unauthentic ragu with the left over lamb from last night. Fresh pasta from "Jamie at home" and another feast! Well, I thought so....

Re: Whats For Supper?

Home made pizzas. This one's an antipasto (mainly h/m store cupboard essentials) pizza. Salad. Winter fruit salad (oranges segmented, juice, zest, currants plumped up in juice and a touch of Grand Marnier and toasted almond slivers) with ice cream for my son.
