Re: Whats For Supper?

Tonight is pea and ham soup with toast. It's still simmerng away on the stove at the moment so promiscuity be ready in the next hour or so. I want the ham to be simply melting so am happy to wait as long as necessary  smile

Re: Whats For Supper?

Yumm love pea and ham soup. It's take away pizza for the boys in the house and I'll have left over salad and vegies from lunch.

Re: Whats For Supper?

Green matzo ball soup (Mollie Katzen's recipe) using home made stock. The green in the matzo balls comes from finely minced broccoli (what else from Mollie? wink ).

Re: Whats For Supper?

As it's the last night of the holidays, and school starts tomorrow, roast chicken with rice, broccoli & leeks, with gravy, and rhubarb crumble for pudding has been requested.

Re: Whats For Supper?

Almost 11pm here. Just in from work. Tuna eaten out of tin while standing at kitchen sink. Washed down with a 6 veg and 2 fruit smoothie. Not my dinner of choice but too tired for anything else.

Re: Whats For Supper?

I had planned a BBQ for tonight. The temperature here has just hit 39 degC!

Back to the drawing board.

Re: Whats For Supper?

It was 30C here today. 10C when I got up this morning.

Daughter is driving up tonight for the long weekend (two in a row). Wants her "usual" (chicken in coconut milk) but since she's gone Paleo wants it over quinoa. Steamed Asian greens to follow. Will have fresh fruit for dessert.
