Looking at the three ingredients listed, it seems a lot like colcannon.

Or bubbles and squeaks?

Re: Whats For Supper?

Linguine with red sauce and meatballs as requested by my wife. sorry no picture was too hungry to bother.

we had a interesting meal earlier in the weekend  at a place in Frankenmuth Michigan during quick mini-trip to the USA.  It was at a place called Zehnder's of Frankenmuth that is apprently famous for their chicken dinners.  The chicken was quite nice ( although I would put my homemade up against it anytime) , but the sides were the show stealer.   I am not sure there was a spot left on the table with all the accompaniments that come with it.

I will just cut and paste from their website since I am sure I would forget something otherwise.

along with the chicken you get served family style

Noodle Soup • Zehnder’s Creamy Cabbage Salad • Zehnder’s Cheese Spread and Chicken Liver Paté with Garlic Toast • Assorted Breads •
Whole Fruit Preserves • Large Curd Cottage Cheese • Cranberry Relish • Mashed Potatoes • Mother’s Dressing Chicken Gravy • Vegetable of the Day

plus a choice of vanilla or chocolate ice cream or orange sherbert for dessert.

Even between the four of us we only put a moderate dent in most of it, and only two managed to share a single portion of ice cream at the end.

I am still not sure how they can make money at it considering the amount of scratch made food  for such a reasonable price.

Stir-fried baby octopus Asian-style with Chinese broccoli over rice (I think. Might do noodles).
