Re: Whats For Supper?

Doesn't look too untidy to me Maree.  big_smile

I have no idea what we are having as my lovely fella said he will cook tonight...I'm guessing it may involve Spinach as we  have so much of it growing, but he has also said he want a second attempt at a Marmite sauce, so who knows but i look forward to it whatever he does..
And then there is Masterchef  later on to look forward to as-well.

Re: Whats For Supper?

Not sure tonight - I have a defrosted chicken breast, so will do something with that and whatever happens to be in the fridge!

Edited for spelling!

Re: Whats For Supper?

Venison meatballs in a Roasted red and yellow pepper smoky sauce with a side of spinach (Chard).
Not sure whether to add some noodles to the sauce or leave it as it is, sometimes it can be wrong to over complicate things so I may leave the noodles off.

Salmon, asparagus and corn cooked in the grill pan. Steamed red skinned potato. Some fresh berries as they are to follow.

Re: Whats For Supper?

Pan fried sand flounder with peas.  I've never cooked flounder before but found it at Costco today, it was easy to cook and delicious.  I lightly coated it in seasoned flour then pan fried it in olive oil adding butter and lemon juice to the pan when it was cooked.

Dinner for one tired person - me -  with few ingredients on hand - quinoa spaghetti with a quick homemade tomato sauce and cheddar (only cheese left).
