Veal Stroganoff
Last night I made a veal stroganoff for tea .. it was ok but found it to be a little tasteless.
There were no herbs in the recipe and was wondering if may be there should have been..?
Off the top of my head there was: veal, paprika, chicken stock, worcestershire sauce, onion, garlic, mushrooms, tomato paste, S&P, sour cream (that's all that comes to mind
)
It was just missing something. Any ideas ![]()

Re: Veal Stroganoff
Hi Venus, that is almost the exact same recipe except for the mustard verse worcestershire sauce. It did say to add chives which were only for garnish .. I wonder if they would make a big difference ..
We had it with pasta.

Re: Veal Stroganoff
When I make stroganoff I add a bit of dillweed at the end rather then chives as there's already onion is the sauce. The mustard does give a nicer taste.
