Simple Spuds!
This is how my father-in-law prepares his homegrown potatotes:
Heat up your oven to about 240°C
Scrub your potatoes and make sure the skins are nice and clean and eye-free.
Cut the potatoes in half, lenghwise, and place them on an oven tray.
Rub the cuts with seasalt, sprinkle them with ground black pepper, ground hot pepper or ground rosemary and then drizzle extra virgin olive oil on top.
Place the tray in the oven and cook the potatoes until the tops are golden brown and crisp.
They are delicious piping hot and great even cold the next day!

Re: Simple Spuds!
Oo, sounds good.
I like cutting them into four wedges, popping them in a bag with some oil, turmeric, cumin and fennel seeds, shaking about then roasting until very crispy.
