Janiz,
Thats what I meant: if he's not making wine in the Douro region then its not Port, its whatever name they wanna give it but not Port.
There are a few producers here that are making sweet wine similar to Sauternes, similar but they call it something else, not Sauternes.
See what I mean?
Cheers

I adore a good Malbeck from Cahors big blackberry and licquorice, plummy. The Argentinian's not bad.
Summer it has to be a good Pinot Grigot or there is a great little Frascati that I get when I am in Rome.

I picked up a couple of Cloudy Bays recently, and they do live up to their reputation. Hard to drink more than one or two glasses without some food, though.
One of my overall favourites remains Dutschke's St Jakobi Shiraz.

@ STEFFI oh yeah it would be a sin if I heard people from Germany saying that they love wine than beer. Because there's no better beer than in Germany. Octoberfest!!!!
And as for me I love Shiraz the most. I'd love to have it with cheese, olives and cold cuts. But there are instances that I drink wine with my strawberry fondue with chocolate.
