SOUSED HERRING RECIPE WANTED

Hello,  I was wondering if anybody  had a delicious recipe for soused herring.  I remember when I was a little girl my mother was always making it.  She said it was her favourite recipe.  Sadly, I never got the recipe from her.Valeriea. sad
