Slides work on photo copiers and on Laser because the drum that melts the powdered ink heats the plastic slide up, allowing the ink to stick to it.
Jets use liquid ink and don’t heat the plastic sheet so the ink can’t stick.
These sheets that I just bought say they have some kind of coating, I’ve had a look at them and that doesn’t seem to be true. What they have done is scratch one of the sides, so there is something for the liquid ink to hold on to.
They could have used burning or a coating which would have worked just as well.
I used to do what your teacher does. Print the slides at home on paper. Then photo copy the printed sheets on plastic. The reason why I am not doing that this time is, I need colour.
